The production of ryegrass in 2018 was 196,384 tons and the harvested area was 6,656 ha, with a yield of 29.5ton ha -1. 29,649.30 ha are corresponding to cultivated pastures, of which 27,633.20 ha are in the Junín mountain range. In the Junín region, the area of natural pastures is 1,104 300.04 ha.
